About Us

Swap Field Guide is an independent review and ranking site for crypto exchanges. We help people compare platforms without pretending that every user needs the same thing. An exchange that suits a frequent trader may be a poor fit for someone making a first purchase or withdrawing to a personal wallet.

Our research looks at five practical areas: pricing, security, market access and liquidity, usability, and customer support and reputation. We read fee schedules and legal disclosures, test common account journeys, monitor major service changes, and compare the fine print that marketing pages often bury.

We are not an exchange and never hold customer funds. Some links may generate commissions, but commercial relationships don't determine scores or placement. Our job is to make the tradeoffs clear enough for you to choose with your eyes open.
