Editorial Policy

Swap Field Guide is an independent rankings and reviews publication. Here's how we actually operate.

No Pay-for-Placement

A provider cannot pay for a higher score, a better ranking position, or a spot on this site at all. Every provider we cover is measured against the same fixed criteria, laid out on our Methodology page.

How We Score

Every provider is scored against the same weighted criteria. The exact criteria and their weights are shown on our Methodology page so readers can see exactly how a score was reached, not just the final number.

Corrections

Keeping reviews accurate and current matters to us. Found something outdated or wrong? Use our contact page - every correction request gets reviewed, and we update content when it's warranted.

Affiliate Relationships

Some links to providers we review may be affiliate links. This is disclosed in full in our Terms of Use, and it never influences how a provider is scored or ranked.

Editorial Independence

No provider we review owns or operates Swap Field Guide. Every opinion and score here is independently our own.
